YOU NEED TO DO 2 THINGS:
Install the “dropzone” folder:

 

Go to your Steam/Epic Account

Right Click on Game

Click Properties

Click Installed Files

Click Browse

Drag and Drop  this ” dropzone” file in there
Install the ” Animal_population_17 file::

1.) Go to your c:/ Drive

2.) Click:  Documents

3.) Open:  ‘Avalanche Studios ” folder

4.) Click :  COTW

5.) Click : Saves

6.) Click:  the long number

7.) Drag  the ” Avalanche_population_17 ”   file that you downloaded into the game.
NOTE:  If there is a “dropzone” file already in there, delete it and install this new one.

                 if you already have another ” Animal_ population_17″ file inside your Avalanche Studios folder, delete it and install

             this new one.
Suggestion:  Save the “dropzone”  folder and the animal population file  you just downloaded into a NEW harddrive, that way you will always have it and not lose it
